Clever by nature, the Scandinavian-designed stove in this wood-burning hot tub creates a vacuum effect causing the water to circulate naturally. In addition, the air between the liner and wood cladding is superheated to decrease the heat-up time by 70% compared to traditional wood-burning hot tubs. The stove is cleverly integrated to pull in all the cold water through a lower channel, heat it and redistribute it through a second, upper channel to achieve an even temperature.

Extremely fast heat-up time

Due to the highly efficient design, this hot tub heats 1/3 of the time as a traditional wood-burning hot tub. This tub will get you from 5C to optimal soaking temperature (35C) in 1.5 - 2 hours. The most effective stove

This Scandinavian-designed wood-burning hot tub has a corrugated stove and a secondary chamber to transfer heat from the smoke. This reduces wood consumption by 50% compared to traditional models. To maintain this efficiency, the stove self-cleans to prevent the build-up of tar.

The Ultimate Canadian Outdoor Luxury

We recently installed a deluxe wood burning hot tub with liner. We were initially hesitant to make this purchase as we were unfamiliar with the product, but were convinced it would be a great investment with all the health advantages of a hot tub without chemicals, pumps, or electricity. This hot tub has exceeded our expectations and is the best addition we could have made to our NB cottage. Our salesperson was readily available and always answered our questions in a clear knowledgeable fashion. Backcountry provided excellent communication for delivery, and installation went smoothly. We filled it in 30 minutes from our well, and it was heated up to temperature in 2 hours. With the insulated cover it maintained temperature for hours. After 3 days we use the water to irrigate our gardens. It has increased our time outdoors in relaxing conversation with friends and family and has even extended our swim time in the lake. We are 100% satisfied with our purchase.

The star of the show

We have a sauna (also from Back Country), and another hot tub but this one gets all of the attention and rave reviews. It's quick to fill up, and easy to figure out how long in advance we need to start the fire, etc. It's also easy to clean due to the liner. The best part of this tub is the ability to enjoy a soak under the stars without the sound of jets. And the smell and sound of the wood fire crackling is a plus. It was a breeze to set up.
